Community Involvement

The focal point of my community involvement has been with Mulberry Street United Methodist Church. A member there for many years, I have served as Chairman of the Administrative Board, Sunday School teacher, member of the Board of Trustees, committee chair, leader in youth program, as well as singing in the choir.   I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Macon Outreach Ministry located at Mulberry UMC.

Through my membership in the Kiwanis Club of Macon, I work with area high school Key Clubs. The students are given opportunities for leadership development and for service to their community.
As a father of two daughters, I have worked for many years with PTA (The National Parent Teacher Association), both in the local schools and at the system-wide level.
